TV Time shut down. Here’s how to recover your watch history.
TV Time closed on 15 July 2026 and deleted its users’ data. If you saved your export, you can bring everything back in a minute. If you didn’t, you can still rebuild most of your history from the streaming services you watch on.

What happened to TV Time?
TV Time shut down on 15 July 2026. The apps were removed from the App Store and Google Play, tvtime.com went offline, and the data export tool closed with it. Users were told to download their data before the deadline, after which personal data was deleted.
Can TV Time data be recovered after the shutdown? Not from TV Time itself: the servers and the export tool are gone. But your viewing history also lives with the streaming services you used, and that’s what you can rebuild from below.
If you saved your TV Time export
Search your computer, phone, email and cloud storage for a .zip file from TV Time (it may have been emailed as a download link). Inside is a file called tracking-prod-records-v2.csv: that’s your full watch history.
- Open the TV Time importerGo to haveseen → Upload → TV Time. You can try it without an account.
- Drop the .zipNo need to unzip it. It’s read on your device and never uploaded.
- Check and addEvery episode you ticked off comes back season by season, with your films and the shows you saved for later.
Already unzipped it? Drop tracking-prod-records-v2.csv on its own instead.
No export? Rebuild your history from your streaming services
Most people never got their TV Time export in time. The good news: Netflix, Prime Video and the other services keep their own record of what you watched, and haveseen can read it. Import each service you use and your history comes back show by show, with posters, episode guides and what to watch next.
Netflix
Go to netflix.com/viewingactivity in a web browser (not the app), choose your profile, scroll to the bottom and click Download all. Drop NetflixViewingHistory.csv into haveseen: every episode is grouped into its show automatically. Full Netflix guide.
Prime Video
Open primevideo.com → Settings → Watch history, scroll to the bottom so everything loads, select all and copy, then paste it into haveseen. For your entire archive, request your data from Amazon and drop the viewing history CSV in when it arrives. Full Prime Video guide.
Disney+
Disney+ has no history download, so open your profile’s Continue Watching and Watchlist rows, copy the titles and paste them into haveseen, one per line.
Crunchyroll
Open crunchyroll.com/history, scroll until everything has loaded, select all, copy and paste. It all comes in as anime.
Max (HBO)
Open My Stuff → Continue Watching on max.com, select and copy the titles, and paste them.
Apple TV+
In the Apple TV app, open Up Next and your Recently Watched row, copy the titles and paste them, one per line.
Trakt
If you also used Trakt, type your Trakt username (for a public profile) or drop your Trakt data export. Everything you watched comes across episode by episode, matched exactly by Trakt’s IDs.
Letterboxd
For films: export your data from Letterboxd → Settings → Data, unzip it and drop diary.csv (keeps ratings and dates) or watched.csv.
MyAnimeList
For anime: export your anime list from myanimelist.net → Export and drop the .xml.gz file straight in.
Fill in the gaps in minutes
Streaming history won’t include shows you watched on TV or before you had an account. To catch up quickly, search for a show in haveseen, open it and tap Up to here on the last episode you remember: every earlier episode is ticked off in one go. Or use the tick next to a season to mark the whole season.
Have a list somewhere else, like a spreadsheet or notes? Paste the titles, one per line, into Upload → Other.
Make sure it never happens again
Create a free haveseen account so your list is saved to your account, not just one phone, and syncs across all your devices. You can download a full backup of your history at any time with Export backup on the Upload page, so your data is always yours.
Rebuild your TV Time history now
Import from Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, Crunchyroll, Max, Apple TV+, Trakt, Letterboxd or MyAnimeList. Free, and about a minute per service.

Questions
Is TV Time gone for good?
Yes. TV Time shut down on 15 July 2026: the apps were removed from the stores and the website went offline.
Can I still export my TV Time data?
No. The export tool went offline with the rest of TV Time. If you requested your export before 15 July 2026, look for the .zip file (often sent by email) and import it into haveseen.
How do I recover my TV Time watch history without the export?
Rebuild it from your streaming services. Download your Netflix viewing history, copy your Prime Video watch history, and copy what’s in your Disney+, Crunchyroll, Max and Apple TV+ history, then import each one into haveseen. Use “Up to here” to tick off anything else you remember.
What was in the TV Time export?
Your watch history: the episodes you ticked off, the films you watched and the shows you saved for later, in a file called tracking-prod-records-v2.csv inside the .zip.
Do my TV Time comments and badges come back?
No. TV Time’s export only included your watch history, and its comments were deleted. haveseen has its own episode discussions, reactions and badges, so you can start those again.
Which app is the best replacement for TV Time?
haveseen is built to replace TV Time, with an up-next list, an upcoming-episodes calendar and a discussion for every episode. See our TV Time alternative page and our Trakt vs Simkl vs Serializd comparison.
